Such a great underrated record! Dee Dee was a genius. I love the Ramones. How is it that one band could just be so fucking awesome all the time? Like there was no down period. It was like everything touched turned to gold… Including Dee Dee’s rap album.
If you love bands like Motorhead / The Wildhearts / Hellacopters / Turbonegro / Gluecifer etc. And you like touring, playing shows and live in Melbourne, please get in touch with us.
Or if you know someone who may fit the bill, please let them know. We like recording records, kicking out the jams and touring.

Please reblog this and help us find a drummer who will turn up to rehearsal. Thanks!
After more than a 2 month delay, we are back. Why the delay? Well, I went to the USA and so in this episode you get to hear all about it. I tell all about the awesome of travelling around the United States, the craziness of Record Store Day in Hollywood, the sites, the sounds, the bands I saw, the whole sha-bang. But it doesn’t end there, I also play you a bunch of music that I bought over there mixed in with some classics. You’re gonna dig this show. Lotsa fantastic tunes including one quirky and unique MC5 cover that I was truly flipped out over when I heard it and now you can to. If you want to tune in and start listening, click here and it will play. If you’d rather get straight to a download of the show right now then do so by right clicking and save as on this link.
Enjoy tunes by:
The White Stripes
Against The Grain
The Wonder Years
Come see my band tonight at The Pony Bar. We are sharing the stage with Perth’s finest, the Chainsaw Hookers. This will be awesome!
Bands start 1:45am.
The party starts 1:44am.
Let’s do this!!!
For those that have not been fortunate enough to ever hear a SPUNKBUBBLES tune, may I introduce them to you. This is the first song I ever heard by the band so for those that have never heard them before, this will be your first introduction also. Don’t be ‘that guy’ and just ignore this post and continue listening to the same albums you have heard before. Be adventurous and listen to something new.
Here’s the new issue of AUSTRALIAN HYSTERIA MAGAZINE that has an interview I did with BRIAN FALLON of the GASLIGHT ANTHEM and The HORRIBLE CROWES. He goes pretty in depth into the whole Horrible Crowes thing and yeah, heaps good.
THE HARD-ONS setlist from their show last night at the Espy in St Kilda. The encore was: What Would Stiv Bators Do? Don’t Wanna See You Cry
If you like Australian music but don’t own these then unfortunately there was an error in your upbringing. I’m sorry, it sucks to be you. True story.
Here’s a demo of a song I wrote called “The Best Part Of You (Was Me)”
It’s currently available on our CD, “The Early Years” which is a bunch of collected singles n stuff. If you want a copy, they’re $10 postage paid anywhere in the world.
