This is SONIC SHAKES first label release and it’s quite a looker! This new release by Melbourne motorpunk rock n roll band, MUSCLE CAR, has quite an interesting back story to it.

Such a great underrated record! Dee Dee was a genius. I love the Ramones. How is it that one band could just be so fucking awesome all the time? Like there was no down period. It was like everything touched turned to gold… Including Dee Dee’s rap album.
After more than a 2 month delay, we are back. Why the delay? Well, I went to the USA and so in this episode you get to hear all about it. I tell all about the awesome of travelling around the United States, the craziness of Record Store Day in Hollywood, the sites, the sounds, the bands I saw, the whole sha-bang. But it doesn’t end there, I also play you a bunch of music that I bought over there mixed in with some classics. You’re gonna dig this show. Lotsa fantastic tunes including one quirky and unique MC5 cover that I was truly flipped out over when I heard it and now you can to. If you want to tune in and start listening, click here and it will play. If you’d rather get straight to a download of the show right now then do so by right clicking and save as on this link.

Come see my band tonight at The Pony Bar. We are sharing the stage with Perth’s finest, the Chainsaw Hookers. This will be awesome!
Bands start 1:45am.
The party starts 1:44am.
Let’s do this!!!
This is the newest magazine I write for. The website has tons of my reviews and what not. It will be updated daily with all the goings on in all music that’s HEAVY. Whether it be rock, metal, punk or their sub-genres, it will all be here. It’s only been live for 1 day so keep checking back as it develops.
For those that have not been fortunate enough to ever hear a SPUNKBUBBLES tune, may I introduce them to you. This is the first song I ever heard by the band so for those that have never heard them before, this will be your first introduction also. Don’t be ‘that guy’ and just ignore this post and continue listening to the same albums you have heard before. Be adventurous and listen to something new.
