1. Oldest Record I Own: THE BEATLES - ‘Twist & Shout’ 45.
My mum gave me all her Beatles records that she collected as she grew up. I have been through them all and this was the oldest record I own. It crackles but doesn’t skip. It still sounds great! This record was released July 20th, 1963. My mum was a young kid back then. The Beatles were her favourite band and are still to this day. This is where the love for rock n roll comes from. Along with the Rolling Stones, music this good was always played in our home. I’m a lucky guy. Stoked she gave me all of these records cos I love all this stuff and some day, if I have kids, they will hear these records and love them too. #vinyl #records #recordaday #thebeatles #beatles #twistandshout
