One of the things I loved about doing the zine, Long Gone Loser, was being sent obscure compilation records of long lost gems. Garage bands who probably cut nothing more than one single for some small time label with aspirations to be the next Warner Bros.
These three LPs were sent to me from a small time pressing plant in Melbourne called Corduroy Records. The label / pressing plant would churn out tons of obscure records. God knows where they got the tunes from or how they even uncovered them but they still took the time to get them to the people. I loved discovering weird, wild and wacky garage rockers from bands I had never heard of and probably never will again.
Still, I promise I will do a podcast showcasing some of these obscurities. I have hundreds of songs, now to just choose the ones you really must hear.
Thanks to Corduroy Records for sending me so many weird and wonderful records back in the 90s. You guys ruled!!!

I am pretty sure this was the first record I ever bought with my own money way back in 1986. It cost me $5 from a store in Adelaide called Andromeda Music. Worth every cent. Dee Snider is easily one of metal’s best vocalists.
