I watched RAW 1000 last night and really, I found it to be a big pile of meh. Too much talking and stupid cameos to celebrate the fact they had hit 1000 episodes. Sure, it is a landmark effort and it’s amazing what they have achieved. I wish they’d let Sin Cara do what he did as Mistico cos he was much more crazier and over the top. I think if they had Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio as a tag team and let them run free with their luchadore style, they would be a lot more interesting and enjoyable to watch. Kinda like The Hardy Boys were back in the day. The wedding part was horrible and painful to sit through but at least The Rock was funny. AJ as a new general manager could be fun. Interesting that they have chosen to push her so we will see where this goes. Lita’s cameo was cool to see cos she’s awesome and still looks really good. Was surprised to see her do a high flying move as after her neck injury, her wrestling skills just went downhill (can’t blame her, she got fucked up while filming a show that wasn’t even WWE!). CM Punk’s match was ruined by the Big Show so that sucked. Totally bored with the Big Show and have been since he started. I can see what they are trying to do but seriously, all I wanted was one match that either a) wasn’t a squash match over within seconds, or b) wasn’t littered with interference.

It seemed like the talking to match ratio was like 95-5. Poor effort. And I get the whole celebration thing so they had to bring people out who helped make the show what it is but still, I dunno. They just over did it, I thought. 

Also, that whole “DAMN” thing that is just the stupidest catch phrase they have ever used and I hate it even more than the overuse of people yelling WHAT! during anyone’s conversation.
